As we face the challenges of navigating ever-increasing levels of complexity and a BANI (Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, and Incomprehensible) world, it is essential that we upgrade and integrate all our intelligences, beyond cognition alone.
In this highly experiential workshop, we will tune into the integrated intelligence of our bodymind somatic “simulator” practices, to enhance our capacity to orient in, sense and respond to a complex reality with more clarity, trust and ease. This will support us to deepen our capacity to decide, act and relate in complexity more skilfully and with more alignment to who we are, what we want, what is good for us and for the larger system.
Working on the basis of your lived examples and with the IDG framework in mind, we will tap into the power of principles and practices of embodiment created, among others, by Paul Linden PhD, founder of the Being in Movement MindBody Education, and Wendy Palmer, founder of Leadership Embodiment.
We will take one or two 10/15-minute breaks at regular intervals through the workshop, to allow you to rest and rejuvenate.
Practical recommendations
- Please ensure that you arrive ideally 15-20 min in advance, and at the latest on time, as we will lay important foundations at the very beginning of the workshop.
- We advise you to wear comfortable, layered clothes suitable for light intensity movement.
- It is also useful to have with you something to take notes with
- Bring generous hydration and snacks to sustain yourself through the workshop
- And apart from that: simply bring your full self, head, heart and body!
